During the destruction of Stonekeep, Drake is saved by a mysterious figure. Khull-Khuum has imprisoned the other gods inside magical orbs and hidden them away. Play as Drake, the sole survivor of the destruction of Stonekeep at the hands of the mad god Khull-Khuum. Set in a fantasy world and taking place completely underground, Stonekeep is a literal dungeon crawler, like Eye of the Beholder or Dungeon Master. Though taking a record amount of time to develop, it was well worth the wait. The designer Peter Oliphant planned to complete the game in just nine months, but he ended up spending almost 7 years in development (counting platform shifts and delays).

Stonekeep is a role-playing dungeon crawler developed and published by Interplay for the PC in 1995. Kudos to whoever had the know-how to extract the tunes from the game. The music did a great job of conveying atmosphere in an environment that consisted of hallways and 90-degree turns. While there is alot of transitional stuff, all the classic game tunes are there.

Personally, I wanna hear the Ballad of Wahooka again. Good in game, lousy in Solo, unless you've a good hand with setting up playlists. Yeah, the musoic is basically little threads and bits that play in a predetermined sequence, and are ajusted as needed. There are lots of very small and unenjoyable midi bits and pieces in this archive, but the long tunes are there too, so be patient and look for them! By the way, just recently I plugged some of them into a really classy syntheziser.
